Common name: The Calvus Cichlid

Origin: Lake Tanganyika, Africa.

Optimal living conditions:  23-25°C temperature

                                               8.0 - 9.0 pH

                                               300 l+ sized aquarium.

Adult fish size: 13.5 cm

Diet: frozen foods such as vitamin-enriched brineshrimp, Mysis shrimp, chopped krill, mosquito larvae etc. works best but high quality pellets can also be offered.

Tankmates: Can only be kept with other larger Tanganyikan cichlids or only by themselves. They are aggressive and all smaller fishes will end up as pray.
