Common name: Ruby Red Peacock Cichlid

Origin: Lake Malawi, Africa

Optimal living conditions: 24 - 27 °C temperature

                                               7.5 - 9.0 pH

                                               200 l+ sized aquarium.

Adult fish size: 10 - 12 cm

Diet: Feed high quality pellets and frozen foods. Also add live foods such as brine shrimp to enrich their diet.

Tankmates: Other peaceful cichlids and bottom dwellers of similar size. Also larger tetras might work well.
