Origin: South America (found primarily in the Napo River basin, Ecuador and Peru)

Adult fish size: 5 - 6 cm
Diet: Feed a varied diet of high-quality sinking pellets, flakes, and occasional live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. Corydoras napoensis are omnivores and will forage for detritus, algae, and plant matter in the aquarium.
Tankmates: Peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and small catfish. Like other Corydoras, they do best in groups of 6 or more. They are bottom dwellers and thrive in community tanks with other peaceful fish. Avoid keeping with larger or aggressive species.
