Origin: South America (found in the upper Amazon River basin, primarily in Peru and Ecuador)

Adult fish size: 4 - 5 cm

Diet: Feed a varied diet of high-quality sinking pellets, flakes, and occasional live or frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. Corydoras panda are omnivores and will forage for detritus, algae, and plant matter in the substrate.

Tankmates: Peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and small catfish. Like other Corydoras, they do best in groups of 6 or more. They are bottom dwellers and work well in community tanks with other peaceful fish. Avoid keeping them with larger or aggressive species that could stress them.
