Diet: Feed a varied diet of high-quality flakes, micro pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms. Danio malabaricus are omnivores, and they will also forage for algae and plant matter in the aquarium.
Tankmates: Peaceful species such as small tetras, rasboras, and other non-aggressive fish. Danio malabaricus are social and should be kept in schools of 6 or more. They do well in community tanks with other small, peaceful fish. Avoid keeping them with aggressive or large species that may stress them or outcompete them for food.
