Adult fish size: 4 - 5 cm

Diet: Feed a varied diet of high-quality flakes, micro pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, and small worms. Eirmotus octozona are omnivores and will also pick at algae and small plant matter.

Tankmates: Peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and other small, non-aggressive fish. They are best kept in schools of 6 or more and thrive in a community tank. Due to their peaceful nature, avoid keeping them with larger or aggressive species that may outcompete them for food or cause stress.
