Diet: Hemigrammus coerulus are omnivores and thrive on a varied diet of high-quality flake food, small pellets, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms. They also enjoy plant-based foods such as spirulina and blanched vegetables like spinach or zucchini.
Tankmates: Peaceful species such as other tetras, rasboras, small barbs, and other community fish. These are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of 6 or more to feel secure and reduce stress. Avoid housing them with aggressive fish or larger predatory species.
Note: Blue Tetras are known for their striking blue coloration, especially under the right lighting, making them a beautiful addition to a peaceful community aquarium. They are best kept in a well-planted aquarium with plenty of swimming space and hiding spots to ensure their comfort.
