Diet: Hemiodus gracilis are omnivores and will thrive on a varied diet of high-quality flake food, small pellets, and live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms. They also enjoy plant-based foods like spirulina and blanched vegetables like zucchini and spinach.
Tankmates: Peaceful species such as other tetras, barbs, and small cichlids. Due to their active nature and relatively large size, they do best in a larger aquarium with plenty of space for swimming. Avoid housing them with overly aggressive or very small fish.
