Diet: Herotilapia multispinosa are omnivores and thrive on a varied diet. They should be fed high-quality pellets, flakes, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia. They also enjoy plant-based foods such as spirulina and blanched vegetables like zucchini, peas, and spinach.

Tankmates: These cichlids are generally peaceful but can be territorial, especially when breeding. They are best kept with other similarly-sized, peaceful fish like larger tetras, catfish, and other mild-mannered cichlids. Avoid small or very aggressive tankmates, as they may get bullied or become prey.
