Diet: Omnivore. Feed a balanced diet of high-quality flake food, micro pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia. They may also nibble on some plant matter.
Tankmates: Peaceful and social, Rasbora einthovenii thrives in schools of 6 or more. They do well with other peaceful community fish like tetras, small catfish, and other rasboras. Avoid large or aggressive fish that may stress them. Because they are small and active, they appreciate a tank with open swimming space but also some plants or decorations to hide in if they feel stressed.
Note: The Einthoven’s Rasbora is an attractive species with a slender body and a subtle red coloration, often appearing more vibrant when kept in groups. As a peaceful and social species, they are well-suited for community tanks and are an excellent choice for beginners. They enjoy being in schools, which also helps bring out their best colors and behaviors.
