Prekės aprašymas

Common name: Truncated Rasbora

Origin: Southeast Asia, primarily found in the rivers and streams of Malaysia and Indonesia.

Optimal living conditions:

  • Temperature: 24 - 28 °C
  • pH: 6.0 - 7.5
  • Aquarium size: 60 liters+ (well-planted tank with open swimming spaces)

Adult fish size: 4 - 5 cm

Diet: Omnivore. Offer a balanced diet of high-quality flake food, micro pellets, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia. They will also consume algae and plant matter in the tank.

Tankmates: Peaceful and social. Rasbora truncata does well in schools of at least 6-8 individuals. They are best kept with other small, peaceful species such as tetras, danios, and other rasboras. Avoid keeping them with larger, more aggressive species.

Note: The Truncated Rasbora is known for its distinctive shape and bright, reflective coloration. The fish has a somewhat "truncated" appearance, with a slight taper at the tail end. Their calm and peaceful nature, combined with their vibrant colors, makes them a great choice for community tanks. Keeping them in a well-planted aquarium with plenty of swimming space will help them thrive. They enjoy company, so it’s best to keep them in schools for their emotional well-being and to see them display their natural behavior.
