Zeo Carbon aktiv is a highly-effective multi-purpose filter substrate made up of high-quality activated carbon and extremely fine zeolite. It removes odours, medicinal residues, chlorine and organic waste materials that arise through conversion.It moreover reduces the phosphate and ammonia content of the water and promotes a rapid bacterial culture. These beneficial properties inhibit the growth of algae and make the water clear and free of toxins. If any fish are undergoing medicinal treatment, the carbon filter should not be used.
