Common name:  Black Ghost Knife Fish

Origin: South America

Optimal living conditions: 24 - 28 °C temperature

                                               6.8 - 7.8 pH

                                               650 l+ sized aquarium for adult.

Adult fish size: 35 - 45 cm

Diet: Primarily carnivorous. Will happily take bloodworms, brine shrimp and high quality small pellets.

Tankmates: This fish will happily eat anything that fits in his mouth. Because of their pretty slow behavior best kept with friendly and slow large fish wich would not outcompete them for food. Angelfish, peaceful plecos and other fish like that might work. Do not keep multiple of them in the same tank!
