Aquabotanique Biogrunt Long-Life 6.2l

Biogrunt Long Life is the foundation of biological activity in the substrate. It is the main nitrogen storage in the tank, responsible for the proper reduction of organic matter and thus ensures the safety of the entire aquarium. Proper decomposition of organic matter allows vegetation access to a full range of nutrients, extending the time of proper functioning of the entire micro-ecosystem that is the aquarium. A special mineral complex is responsible for significantly extending the biological activity of the substrate, and thus the entire tank. It counteracts the acidification processes of the tank’s substrate, prevents the formation of anaerobic zones, and accumulation of undecomposed organic compounds at the bottom.


How to use:

Cover the aquarium bottom with a 3-4 centimeter layer of Biogrunt, level it so that there is more Biogrunt in the rear part and slightly less in the front. To prevent mixing of Biogrunt with gravel/substrate, it is good to separate Biogrunt by covering it with a fine mesh nylon net. Then, the prepared sub-gravel part is covered with fine quartz gravel with a fraction of 2-4 mm, or with aquarium substrate. Partially fill the aquarium with water and plant the vegetation. After planting, fill up the water in the aquarium and start the filter, light, and CO2. After a few days, you can introduce the first inhabitants and observe their behavior and condition. If no abnormalities are observed, you can gradually add more species to the population. Capacity 6200 ml
