Diet: Feed high-quality flakes, pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, or daphnia. Schubert’s Barbs are omnivores and will also consume some plant material.

Tankmates: Peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and small catfish. They do well in schools of 6 or more, as they are social fish. Avoid larger, aggressive species.
