Diet: Feed high-quality flakes, pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms. Cardinal Tetras are omnivores and will also graze on plant matter and algae.
Tankmates: Peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, small catfish, and shrimp. Cardinal Tetras do well in schools of 6 or more and are best kept with other non-aggressive fish. They are generally peaceful and can be housed with a variety of community fish, but avoid large or aggressive species.
