Adult fish size: 6 - 8 cm

Diet: Feed a varied diet of high-quality flakes, pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia. Thick-lipped Gouramis are omnivores and will also consume plant matter and algae.

Tankmates: Peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and small catfish. They are generally peaceful but can become territorial during breeding, especially males. It’s best to house them with other non-aggressive species. They do well in pairs or small groups.
