Origin: South America (primarily from the Rio Negro basin in Brazil)

Adult fish size: 5 - 6 cm
Diet: Feed a varied diet of high-quality sinking pellets, flakes, and occasional live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. Corydoras adolfoi are omnivores and will also forage for detritus and algae in the aquarium.
Tankmates: Peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and small catfish. They do well in schools of 6 or more and are excellent in community tanks. Corydoras adolfoi is a bottom dweller, so they work well with fish that occupy the mid to top areas of the tank. Avoid keeping with overly aggressive or large species.
