Origin: South America (found primarily in the Amazon River basin, Brazil)

Diet: Feed a varied diet of high-quality sinking pellets, flakes, and occasional live or frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. Corydoras arcuatus are omnivores and will also graze on detritus, algae, and plant matter in the aquarium.
Tankmates: Peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and small catfish. Like other Corydoras species, they do best in schools of 6 or more. They are bottom dwellers and complement a community aquarium with other mid to top-dwelling fish. Avoid keeping with aggressive or larger species that might bully them.
