Diet: Feed a varied diet of high-quality sinking pellets, flakes, and occasional live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. Corydoras palaetus are omnivores and will also graze on detritus, algae, and plant matter in the substrate.
Tankmates: Peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and small catfish. Corydoras palaetus are social fish and should be kept in groups of at least 6 individuals. They are bottom dwellers and fit well in community aquariums with other peaceful fish. Avoid keeping them with larger or more aggressive species that may stress them.
