Diet: Feed a varied diet of high-quality sinking pellets, flakes, and occasional live or frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. Black Venezuela Corydoras are omnivores and will also forage for detritus, algae, and plant matter in the substrate.
Tankmates: Peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and small catfish. Like other Corydoras, they are social and should be kept in groups of at least 6 individuals. They are bottom dwellers and thrive in community aquariums with other peaceful fish. Avoid keeping them with large or aggressive species that may stress them.
