Adult fish size: 10 - 12 cm

Diet: Haplochromis CH 44 are omnivores, thriving on a diet of high-quality cichlid pellets, flakes, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp, krill, and bloodworms. Include some plant matter or spirulina-based foods to balance their diet.

Tankmates: Suitable tankmates include other Lake Victoria cichlids or similar-sized and temperament cichlids. They can be territorial, especially during breeding, so ensure the tank is spacious with rocks, caves, and hiding places to reduce aggression. Avoid keeping them with much smaller or overly aggressive fish.

Note: Haplochromis species can be challenging to keep due to their specific water requirements and territorial nature. They are best suited for experienced aquarists familiar with cichlid behavior.
