Product description

Common name: Red-Line Tetra

Origin: South America (native to the Amazon River basin in Brazil)

Optimal living conditions: 24 - 28 °C temperature
6.0 - 7.5 pH
80 l+ sized aquarium

Adult fish size: 4 - 5 cm

Diet: Hemigrammus erythrozonus are omnivores and thrive on a varied diet of high-quality flakes, small pellets, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia. They also enjoy plant-based foods such as spirulina or blanched vegetables like spinach and zucchini.

Tankmates: Peaceful species such as other tetras, rasboras, danios, and small barbs. These are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of 6 or more to feel secure and reduce stress. Avoid housing them with aggressive fish or larger predatory species.

Note: The Red-Line Tetra is known for its striking red horizontal line running through its body, adding vibrant color to the aquarium. They are peaceful and active fish that thrive in a well-planted tank with plenty of swimming space and hiding spots. They prefer a calm, stable environment with compatible tankmates.
