Optimal aquarium substrate
The substrate is an important part of aquarium setup, as many animals dig and search for food in it. Plants also need to anchor themselves strongly in it and absorb nutrients with their roots. Burrowing fish necessarily require a substrate that has no sharp edges.

Optimal terrarium substrate
It poses no threat to reptiles. Ideal for heating cables and mats.

Usage: Briefly rinse the substrate with tap water to remove dust created from friction during transport. Lay the substrate to support plant growth on nutrient substrate (JBL AquaBasis) (for strong plant growth approx. 6-8 cm).
