Kruger Meier Crimson Ember Lava 10–20 mm – Structural lava substrate 2 kg

Thanks to its high porosity, lava provides an ideal habitat for beneficial nitrifying bacteria, which are responsible for breaking down harmful nitrogen compounds. The open structure of the material facilitates water flow and prevents the formation of anaerobic decay zones.
This substrate is suitable as a bottom layer under gravel, filter material for sumps and overflow filters, as well as a decorative element in aquascaping, e.g., in biotope tanks.
