Diet: Microgeophagus altospinosus is omnivorous, feeding on a variety of foods in the wild. They also enjoy plant matter, so supplementing their diet with blanched vegetables such as spinach, zucchini, or peas can be beneficial. Tankmates: Bolt Cichlids are peaceful for their size and are often kept in community tanks. They do well with other peaceful species such as tetras, small catfish, and other non-aggressive cichlids.
