Origin: Southeast Asia, primarily found in Malaysia and Sumatra.

Tankmates: Peaceful and social. They do well in groups of 5 or more and should be kept with other peaceful community fish such as tetras, rasboras, small catfish, and other non-aggressive species. Avoid keeping with larger or overly aggressive fish that might stress them.
