How does the SunSun modular filter work?
The filter is standardly equipped with two separate baskets for filter media. The baskets can be easily detached from the filter one at a time to access their interior. The filter pump forces circulation through both baskets or just one, as it is possible to connect only one basket. The baskets are cleverly integrated with the pump, creating a cohesive and sturdy unit.

Why does the filter have baskets for filter media?
The baskets can be utilized appropriately to change the water filtration properties. In the event of unwanted water parameters, one can use media such as Organ-Ex, activated carbon, bio-ceramics, Neo Media, bio-balls, and other filter inserts. The spacious baskets can be arranged in any way desired. Their order can be freely changed.

Is this filter better than regular internal filters?
The ability to add any filter inserts is a significant convenience for users and is a major advantage of the product. This feature makes the filter significantly superior to other equivalents.

Flow regulation:
The filter is equipped with a clever and smooth flow regulation. This allows for the adjustment of the filter's power to the capacity of the aquarium and in relation to the filter inserts used.

Aerator in the Turbo filter:
The kit includes a complete set of connectors and hoses for aerating the water. The user has the option to utilize this feature, but it is not imposed on the user by the filter's design. The aeration function is enhanced with the ability to adjust aeration efficiency, thanks to a special air valve, which is also included in the kit. The valve features a special rubber construction that reduces noise from the pumping of water and air.

Motor and impeller:
The filter from the manufacturer SunSun is built on years of experience. It is characterized by reliability, efficient operation, and high energy efficiency. The impeller, being the heart of the device, is resistant to high resistance from the pumped water and features a shaft made of sintered stainless steel with titanium, enabling the pump to operate in seawater.
