Diet: Omnivorous. Tateurdina ocellicauda feeds on a variety of foods, including high-quality pellets, frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and live foods such as small invertebrates. They also graze on algae, making them suitable for community tanks with plenty of live plant matter.

Tankmates: Best kept in groups (3 or more) or as a single specimen. Can be kept with other peaceful species in brackish water aquariums. Suitable tankmates include other gobies, small peaceful tetras, and invertebrates. Avoid aggressive or large predatory fish, as they may stress or harm the gobies. They may nip at slow-moving fish.
